The Mini will be 50 this year, and to celebrate Rockingham race circuit will hold a fantastic weekend of celebrations. On 18 and 19 April 2009, the Northamptonshire circuit will host the UK’s longest running single-make formula, the Mini Se7en Championship, as well as the modified 1300 Mini Miglia Championship and the Mini Cooper Challenge. Also on the cards is the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup, along with race action from TVRs, Westfields, Radicals and more.
Skoda has finally taken the wraps off the Rapid, its new compact saloon. The Rapid is destined to sit between the Fabia supermini and Octavia family hatch in the range, when it heads for UK showrooms in the autumn of 2012. Give me the details on the 2012 Skoda Rapid.

The Concept-CX looks like a Lancer supermini? Close, but no cigar. This is Mitsubishi’s Concept-CX and it shares the frontal styling (which the company describes as ‘a tight and powerful wedge’) and twin-clutch gearbox with the forthcoming Lancer Evo X.
